Grady Wren Lugo

We’ve always treated the people in our business like our extended family - our amazing clients, kick-butt Power Partners, and all our friends on social media - so we were to excited to finally announce Grady’s big arrival on Instagram two weeks ago.

Since then, we’ve been living the newborn life and trying to adjust to our new normal! Having a baby during a global pandemic was not something we could have anticipated or prepared for, but we’ve been doing our best to focus on the bright sides. Luckily, sweet Baby Grady has offered us nothing but moments of indescribable love and wonder (and lots, LOTS of diaper changes!!).

We are so grateful for the amazing team of pros at Scottsdale Shea who made our labor and delivery experience absolutely wonderful even with the stresses of the current health crisis. And, when we returned home, we were blown away by an outpouring of love and support from friends, colleagues, and family. We didn’t have to cook for a week thanks to deliveries of homemade meals and orders from our favorite local restaurants!

Over the last few years as we prepared to start a family, we spent a lot of time and energy into preparing our business to flex and roll with the changes that we expected. Right now it’s still business as usual, and we are supported by our amazing team as well our tried-and-true systems to ensure that no balls are dropped for our clients during this time! Stefanie has taken a step back for a short time as she recovers from delivery (and learns how to “Mom”!) and Bryce has been firing on all cylinders to make sure the business runs, the dishes stay done, and meals get on the table.

After anticipating this time in our lives for the last few years, we are so grateful to finally hold this sweet boy in our arms, and he’s brought into sharp focus why we’ve worked so hard to build the business and life that we have since leaving our finance careers in 2014 to start The Lugos at My Home Group. Grady truly is our “Why” and our Northern Star!

Thank you so much for supporting us and cheering us on during this time! We can’t wait to share more about our newborn experience, how we prepared our business for this big step, and of course more tips for buyers, sellers, and real estate agents soon!
